In August 2023, volunteers worked hard to lay the foundation for a second floor in our orphanage's new classroom building in #Nigeria. That vision is becoming a reality today! Construction is now underway to expand our classrooms, providing more children with a chance at quality education. Our team recently went to various camps to deliver blankets and small monetary gifts to each child to go towards their school costs and basic needs. Below is a statement from a staff member currently on the ground furthering our ministry in the West Bank. We are continuing our Diaper for Refugees program and soon Christmas for Refugees program in the Middle East as more and more Christians find themselves in desperate need. "Every month demonstrates how economically affected the West Bank is. The fighting and violence and horrific war is spreading throughout the West Bank and abroad. With most families having gone through nearly one entire year of unemployment, their financial burdens continue to increase along with their needs. Many of those who were capable of providing diapers for their loved ones are no longer capable as they have no source of income. In addition, shelters who are operated on a charitable bases such as the *Redacted* Shelter for handicapped children are dependent on support from local and foreign donors. With local support ceasing to exist, they are strictly dependent on foreign aid to continue to provide diapers for the 24 handicapped children under their care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the rest of their lives. Attached is a picture of two of the beneficiaries at the shelter. These boys were abandoned and their only family and only home is the shelter. Unfortunately, the need keeps increasing month by month, day by day."
