Great session today in parliament discussing the #NHSElectiveRecovery. Chaired by @DrRosena we heard from fantastic speakers including Sir James Mackey, @Debra54597120 and more. The @HealthAPPG looks forward to continuing to address issues surrounding waiting times. @LSBU

Good to see this report focus on the importance of systems listening to communities; @CommonsHealth said it agreed with evidence it heard from @HealthwatchE that patient stories are as important as spreadsheets for ICSs when setting local priorities and tackling inequalities

This chimes with @HealthwatchE evidence submitted to @CommonsHealth NHS dental inquiry, in particular concerns raised by some parents that their children have never seen a dentist in their life, or kids unable to access an NHS dentist unless parents stay on as private patients
