Ironically, Sunni Persians in countries like Afghanistan speak 'purer' Persian than Iranian Persians. Afghan Persian (Dari) is 'purer' Persian than Iranian Persian, which has so many Arabic loanwords (over 60% of spoken Persian in Iran is Arabic); some jokingly call it an Arabic dialect. There are hilarious clips of Islamophobic and Arabophobic Iranians insulting Islam, Arabs, and Arabic, while every vile racist sentence they spew includes several Arabic words. I'm telling ya, their mental breakdown in those clips is more severe than what you can see in Shia self beating rituals in Karbala and Iran. I've gotta translate one of those clips, Insha'Allah.
