कांशीराम जी का निधन 2006 में हुआ, तब केंद्र में डाॅ मनमोहन सिंह की UPA सरकार थी. 'भारत रत्न' देने का फैसला सरकार 2006 से 2013 के बीच कभी भी कर सकती थी. शायद राहुल जी की कांग्रेस अतीत की तमाम भूलों का निराकरण करना चाहती है. पर भाजपा शायद ही कांग्रेस को इसका मौका दे!
