Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I *think* there's a Sell Algo signature on the $ES chart, which is projecting $SPY will drop into the 695-698 range by today's close. (May or may not give me 697.)

12:45pm ET Update: BEARISH $SPY might be carving out an intraday H&S Top here, currently building a right shoulder around 701.50 with a declining neckline. That pattern would have a minimum downside target of 697.50 around today's close (and possibly lower, if it extends).

Fun Factoid: a 50% retracement of this 12-day rally would take $SPY down to 665.64, which just so happens to be the current MA Support level *and* very close to the Mega DPV at 666.66. Just saying...

Buy Algos are desperately trying to hold $SPY 699, but if you zoom out some, the rally from 630 seems to count as an ABC (especially on technicals)... and that suggests we'll be going back down soon. Today has the potential to be an Outside Reversal Day. #stocks #trading
