I made a short documentary about the state of Obuasi roads some months ago. A whole mining community spearheading the development of the nation with little attention on the road networks. It’s just pathetic. #fixOurRoadsNOW! @NAkufoAddo @Citi973 @tv3_ghana @JOYNEWSONTV

I passed there this morning around 6 a.m. People kept crossing just because the supposed city guards weren't at post or maybe they'll say "it's a weekend". There was one stationed there but felt powerless in directing them to use the footbridge. Something drastic must happen!

There’s some thing happening at Madina Zongo junction where people who do not want to use the overpass to cross to the other side pay between 2-5 cedis to the ‘pragia’ tricycles to move them to the other end because now crossing the main road is being policed by the Madina assembly. I can understand those with goods or loads and old people but…. Herh
