The 13th Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Conference (APC2025) inaugurated by Prof. J.N. Moorthy, Patron of APC2025 and Director-IISERTVM. The Conference is being held at the Crowne Plaza-Kochi, from October 21 to 25, 2025 and hosted by IISERTVM.The conference is organised under the aegis of the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association. The Centre for Solid-State Battery Technology is developing miniature batteries for commercialization. ● Food Safety Breakthrough: In collaboration with Kerala Agricultural University, researchers developed a pesticide detection technology for fruits & vegetables using SERS technology. ● Research Park & Startups: Signed an MoA with Kerala Startup Mission to foster knowledge exchange, research collaborations, and startup support. ● Global Research Initiative: Secured ₹6.37 crore (DST) for a 5-year Indo-German research project with University of Würzburg, enabling the exchange of 32 students & 20 faculty. Faculty Achievements: ○ Prof. Kana M.
