Its no different than any other industry. I would love a supercar, but I can't afford it. I dont complain they are too high, I just accept it.

Some artists I've worked with in the past, their prices are higher, so I use them for a certain types of art & save for it. I also work with artists who are not as expensive & work well for.....

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
