Shrek used to move like Shrek, and Donkey like Donkey. Now, it’s just a hyper polished generic animation with a Shrek skin. The cinematography does the same, follows the rules perfectly but feeling like any other corporate animated project.

@DiscussingFilm Why do they have to make all the character models and animations so goopy nowadays. Same thing happened with Incredibles 2. In the early films the squash and stretch were kept to a reasonable level.
