Radix - Radically Different DeFi
Everyone says they can scale. Radix actually stress-tested hyperscale & achieved 500k TPS (peaked at 800 TPS). » Scalability only matters if it doesn’t break composability!

Today is the day: Tari L2 (The Ootle!) testnet is here! And.. it's not for humans. It's for agents. Point your agent at Ootle.Tari.com, tell it what you want to build, and create magic Details 🧵👇

Radix - Radically Different DeFi
Radix is the only protocol that uses sharding to deliver linear scalability, without breaking composability. Public test last month proved: - 500,000 swaps per second (peak 800k) - 598 nodes participated - Complex swaps, not simple transfers - Linear scaling with atomic cross-shard swaps - Commodity hardware, globally distributed x.com/radixdlt/statu…

Radix - Radically Different DeFi
Hyperscale just publicly proved itself at 500,000+ transactions per second! This is the future of Web3, and YOU built it with us.

As for the other choices, I suggest: Peachy, Alfred Dulaire, and Leomagal (Magal36).

The RAC voting is now open: consultation.radixdlt.com I would appreciate it if you would take a few moments to VOTE FOR JAMES. I have supported Radix since the eMunie days. I was an early investor and I still hold most of my original XRD allocation. Losing Dan was tough but a decentralised blockchain is not about a sole individual, and I believe we have the strongest community in crypto. I would like to serve on the accountability council on behalf of the community to make sure it furthers YOUR interests, after years of shameless teat sucking and gravy train riding by shady actors that hijacked this project. I believe in Radix, now more than ever. I will make damn sure the RAC or any other body which it evolves into will not become another teat sucking mess. And I will work hard on your behalf, not having endless circlejerking meetings or engaging in busy work, but the hard graft that needs to be done to turn Radix around. Vote for James!
Radix - Radically Different DeFi@radixdlt

Decentralization needs coordination. The community has proposed the Radix Accountability Council (RAC) to facilitate the transition to the 2026 model. We are launching two consultations to decide: - Who is on it? - How big is it? Details here below.

Radix - Radically Different DeFi
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬 There was a single question that kept coming up, one that Dan Hughes refused to ignore. What happens when crypto stops being niche… and starts being used by the world? “I've been involved with crypto for over a decade, starting in 2012 when I first explored Bitcoin's potential. As an engineer, my key question was: Can it scale? A new monetary system must handle vast transaction capacity to onboard millions or billions of people and devices. After extensive investigation, it became clear that scaling Satoshi's original blockchain would involve significant trade-offs - the “Moore’s law” increases in bandwidth and computing power alone wouldn't be enough. Determined to find a solution, I embarked on a journey to solve scalability. Along the way, I built a following of like-minded people with similar concerns.” That journey became Radix.

👀 From the @tari Space: Ootle L2 testnet date announced next Tuesday. Our read? Testnet lands end of February 🫡 That’s one step closer to • Mainnet • Real dApps • Private stablecoins • Blink bootstrapping the agent economy • Throttle-controlled $XTM burns going brrrr 🔥 Mining emissions getting absorbed by real usage. Supply tightening. Price coiling. Feels… constructively bullish 🐢📈 $1 $XTM coded.

I'm not saying this is a realistic $XTM chart, but i have seen things like this happen countless times in crypto 😼

Neutral infrastructure. Asset-first design. Hyperscale. Full decentralization. This is why Radix can win.

Difficult to find microcap gems! 💎 Seems everything launches with an FDV of over a billion dollars... $XTM (Tari) is one of the only true microcap L1s. Maintained by the lead devs of Monero $XPR (and merge-mined with Monero), Tari is a Layer-1 blockchain protocol built in Rust. It is also building a scalable L2 called the Ootle based on Cerberus sharding. The tech is interesting and I don't mind putting $1000 on it at these levels — if $XTM does 100x or 200x at some point (which it definitely could considering how cheap it is right now), that will be a fair chunk of change. 💰

Update on the @radixdlt 2026 Transition Strategy. North star: speed without recklessness. We started this early to ensure we have the resources to facilitate a responsible transition. We are moving proactively, but won't break things by rushing to save a day of administrative time. Here is where we are focusing right now.

I agree. There are a 100's of competing opinions on what to do and what path to take. Nothing will get done or the process to decide on what to do will take forever and just lead to more in-fighting. IMO the reins should have been handed over to a person or team with the capability and crypto native experience. Leaving it to the community decide at such short notice is diabolical.
