I think what @Sony is struggling to understand with #Destiny2 is that most of us didn't want to stop playing.
We stopped playing because the people in charge at Bungie were making horrible decisions and (in my opinion) intentionally sabotaging the game.
After seeing how much was planned, how much was denied, how many things were done that leadership outright threw out/refused... it feels on purpose.
It feels like after the sale the leadership just didn't give a single shit and were just waiting for their deal to mature so they could get the bonus and leave.
If the game had been good it would've maintained 100k+ players constantly. Looking back, again, it feels like it was sabotaged by a few spiteful individuals in charge.
Hopefully they see this as a "Oh, maybe we should continue SOME development" or "Hey, D3 makes sense"
Everyone needs to keep being loud on socials. Keep telling Sony/Playstation directly that they were lied to, it was bullshit, and the game's worth keeping.
Let them know the leadership lied, inflated numbers, and then sabotaged the game by not caring.
Maybe it'll do some good.

AMD is facing backlash after refusing to pay a $10,000 bug bounty to a security researcher who discovered a serious flaw in its Auto Updater software.
Although AMD fixed the problem after 124 days, the company said the issue did not qualify for a reward under its bug bounty rules.
The vulnerability could have allowed attackers to intercept software updates and replace them with malicious files, potentially giving them control over a victim’s system.
The researcher reported the issue through AMD’s bug bounty program and expected compensation due to the bug’s severity. However, AMD rejected the payout, saying this type of attack was listed as out of scope in its policy.

New details have been revealed for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, with a closer look at fan-favorite pilot Tasha Seversky and her background.
Before the war, Tasha was the lead pilot of Yuktobania’s aerobatic team, Zvezda. She was taking part in a promotional filming session aboard the aircraft carrier Endurance when war broke out. She later joined Joker Squadron as Joker 3, bringing her fighter pilot experience to the team.
Tasha is voiced in Japanese by Chika Anzai, known for roles such as Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil and Chisa Kotegawa in Grand Blue.
Her English voice is provided by Emi Lo, known for Lucy Kushinada in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
The game will also feature a new first-person cinematic mode that lets players adjust the field of view and zoom settings.
