@TroopersExt My favourite mission so far was pitch black, sandstorms. Couldnt see far in front of ourselves, and ambushes all over the place. We managed to survive, collect plenty of mats, build a solid base, and extract! Mostly due to other people as Im a noob that only just got the game lol

@joewintergreen I get it - his post was lame but I think you harm yourself more than them by saying at least part of what you felt. I think "The game was complete 6 years ago in my eyes, I appreciate your interest though." might have been better, though he would still be upset.

@ArturSmiarowski I used to never voice my opinion but I've started to over the last year or so. I think it's important to speak up, so that other people know they aren't alone! If you can reign in your emotions and avoid scoring points etc, it's the best way forward.

The internet just sucks now doesn't it. Google sucks, Twitter sucks, Facebook sucks, Reddit sucks, journalism sucks, discord sucks. We stand in the smouldering ruins of a city of Dreams. Aggregated, homogenised and exploited dry of any value or soul. The whole internet is dead.

@AnyaynA I just got League of Dungeoneers a few weeks ago. It's a good filler for me as I can't get a copy of Warhammer Quest 1995 for a decent price lol

@shaunspalding I don't think listeners notice those things as much as the creator. As long as they can understand and follow along, or at least see the code, I think they're happy lol

Anyone have any good mic technique tips. I find no matter what I do or what YT advice ive followed I get gross mouth noises and clicks that are a pain to clean up (and AI tools are nice but don't help consistently enough). I feel maybe I need to be further from the mic maybe idk.

What's a video game that everyone else seems to love, but you hate?

@MattWalshBlog I've never been a fan of taking pleasure in other people's suffering. I have a family member who has been like that for as long as I can remember and she's just a bitter shell of a person unfortunately.

There is a very large contingent of people who laugh gleefully when one of Elon Musk's rockets explode on takeoff or a submersible with wealthy adventurers is lost to the sea. These are people whose envy and dissatisfaction with their own mediocre, unimpressive lives have driven them to despise anyone who does anything different, bold, or daring. They take pleasure in failure because they will never have any successes of their own to celebrate. I guess pathetic assholes of this type have always existed. But it worries me that they are so numerous in our culture, and that over time they are only becoming more and more cartoonishly sadistic.
