@MarkKreidler Just one opinion using one batter, but I witnessed Mike Moustakas hit .212 into the shift in 2014 and then .284 in 2015 using the whole field. It’s not the solution for every hitter, but it’s not a completely fallacious argument.

Just for reference the rest of the day, there is no argument lazier and more ignorant of current baseball practice than to bleat, "Just hit the ball where they aren't shifted!" Please don't say it. It exposes you.
