"Anyone claiming there is no anti-Semitism in the Labour Party is wrong. Of course there is, as there is throughout society, and sometimes it is voiced by people who think of themselves as on the left. Jewish members of our party and the wider community were right...

@luiscalleo The correct answer is essentially one of 4 or 5 Pink Floyd songs and the Free Bird solo. No further discussion required.

What’s one guitar solo you never skip no matter how many times you’ve heard it?

@toddladams77 @luiscalleo Yeah! I thought about this question for a bit and this is essentially the answer. There are at least 4 gilmour solos that immediately come to mind as unskippable no matter how many times you've heard them.

@luiscalleo If you're not doing a fully committed air guitar solo with embarrassing facial grimaces whenever you hear Stairway to Heaven then wtf are you doing?

@NotKatrina1 @ThrillaRilla369 I'm sorry but you are clearly an idiot. Their job is not purely about prescribing the right medicine, it's the skill of knowing when to escalate, when to refer to a specialist and choosing the appropriate service, and filtering out phantom complaints with tact + loads more.

@ThrillaRilla369 Primary Care Physicians. Most of the time they either don’t know what’s wrong with you & just refer you to a specialist, or they do know what’s wrong with you and there’s nothing that can be done to fix it.

@graceyldn "i already donate" is the exact literal translation. The problem is that the people working these jobs are the same people who are also unaffected by "I have a boyfriend". Charity sign-up wankers and creepy persistent pests are literally the same people.

What’s the equivalent of “I have a boyfriend” to those charity muggers that hang around train stations or town centres?

How much blind loyalty should a marriage have? If your wife/husband told you they killed someone, would you help hide the body? I would. Is it normal to expect that level of loyalty from your partner?

@hwinter16 @papamidnite82 @DefectivePigg That's absolutely true for normal sinks and fine (in fact wonderful) to do in your own home but that argument completely falls apart when talking about a tiny recessed sink on a plane. These weirdos are doing it for some other reason.

@dave_tremaine @papamidnite82 @DefectivePigg Bragging about it on Reddit is absolutely weirdo behaviour though. I don't know why anyone would be proud of pissing in a sink that other people need to use. Maybe those people are getting off on it... 🤷‍♂️ Some people are just fckcing odd.

@dave_tremaine @papamidnite82 @DefectivePigg I can't speak for everyone in that sub but as someone who occasionally pisses in my own bathroom sink it's purely motivated by convenience and not remotely to do with fetish. It's easier, it's the perfect height and I can wash it away with the taps.

@theblessedsalt I understand your point. I think I even agree that this isn't 'just war' or honourable, however, I don't agree that this would cause unreasonable injury. After a person decides to bash a mailbox, they take it as it comes. If it contained explosives, that's different.

This post is an excellent litmus test for understanding of just war theory. Despite the fact that I can see how effective this would be, I must oppose it because the damage it would do to my enemy (who bashes in my mailbox) would far outweigh the good of saving my mailbox. Its disproportionality is opposed by our duty in charity (and even justice) to watch out even for the good of our enemies. (Yes, by the way, I have had my mailbox bashed in by random vandals.)

@lorahmoe It depends. If I think they are serious then I consider them to be radicalised. If they are frustrated with a man, or general male behaviour then I feel sad that we can be arseholes and try to point out that there are good men, but even good men can be pricks occasionally.

If you’re a man, please respond. If you’re a woman, ask the men in your life and report back: What is your initial gut reaction when you hear a woman say, “I hate men”?

It was extraordinary but commending their 'bravery' feels odd. I'm sure the selection was incredibly competitive and the training brutal but they were essentially passengers for the entire flight, no bravery required. Remarkable, definitely; Brave, debatable.
Barack Obama@BarackObama

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

@JeanHatchet @Heccles94 I completely disagree but your main point (whilst nasty and unfounded) is valid political criticism. Your unfounded accusations of misogyny and anti-Semitism reduce your argument to a (potentially very expensive) rant. There is quite obviously something wrong with you.

The UK agreed to a deal in which the NHS has to pay £3bn a year more for US drugs. The only thing we got was an agreement the UK would face no tariffs. The US broke that deal the UK pays a 10% tariff on everything. The deal must be torn up and no money stolen from the NHS.

@RussellC38848 @Heccles94 @Nigel_Farage The weird thing is that we agree that this is very very bad. We disagree on what that means though... You see this and think it proves immigration=bad, but if you were shown immigrants doing positive things it wouldn't mean immigrants=good. Why? 🤔

I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear. This man sows hate, lies and division. He is a grifter and a conman. He does not represent the vast majority of Britons. RT if you agree P.s. multiculturalism is great.
