The easiest way to think about it is: A website mainly gives you information. A web app lets you do something. For example: Apple’s website = website X = web app A restaurant website showing menu, location, and contact details = website. A dashboard where you can create accounts, upload files, send messages, manage data, and perform actions = web app. Both run in a browser, but a web app behaves more like software while a website behaves more like a digital brochure. Of course, some products sit in the middle and have characteristics of both 😅
