That’s a terrible midfield, by the way. In terms of setup, not individual quality. And those two up top shouldn’t play together. They fucked up by not using Hasselbaink more. He’d had been a better foil for either Kluivert or RVN.

In whichever way I’m not trying to downplay the importance, but for me, if he was a military personnel at war front or a medical doctor in theatre operating my kid, i don’t think I’ll expect him to leave that to go somewhere else irrespective. What is before you needs your attention, What is miles away needs the attention of whoever is in proximity.

What's the point of a man being present at the birth of a child? Standing outside the maternity ward just pacing around like a mad man. Or let's say you even get inside, what can you possibly do besides hold her hand, saying "push" as if the nurses can't do that
This is the World Cup, it's your country at war with other nations. You're no different from a soldier on the frontlines saying I need to be excused so I can go see my wife giving birth
This is the current state of modern men, just emotional decisions, to appear good to a female biased society OVER their duty.
