@Magemalio If there’s one takeaway from DT, it’s that the 14 community can’t claim it’s the most friendly and loving community in gaming no more. There was harassment from both sides of the issue, but the toxic positivity finally caused people to unsub.

@Magemalio Only reason people are getting hyped again is it looks pretty clear that DT is being treated as a side story that’s being brushed under the rug for now.

@DireRavennn I recall Stormblood having a quest like that.

@DireRavennn All depends how invested you are. Some of them have interesting background lore that can potentially expand upon things in the story. Sometimes doing all the side quest in a zone can culminate in a quest where the NPCs for the side quests gather together.

So for FFXIV should I be trying to do most of the side quests, or should I focus mainly on the MSQ at first?🤔

@Lhoverboyy Dawntrail was shit. No amount of veiled threats and harassment towards those who don’t like it will make DT no terrible story wise. Gameplay is the best it has ever been. But that story is trash. But the community still isnt ready to have that talk.

Destiny's financials have been on life support for years. The game just doesn't make as much profit as people wanna believe. The people who think this is marathons fault, and that Bungie would've been thriving if marathon didn't exist, I'm not gonna lie, you're dumb as shit. Sony just overshot big time on their purchase number for Bungie. There's very few live service teams out there that can recoup that type of money quickly

@PaulTassi Destiny 2 was never Warframe. I don’t recall a single time the game didn’t bleed players in some fashion.

@PaulTassi Even at the time of the acquisition, Destiny 2 was having issues. It was clear Bungie was relying almost exclusively on Eververse and cutting things out of upcoming expansion to sell to players separately to pad their numbers.
