@silverkreates @UncannySp1der Yeah no. Even as run was coming out Namor (and many T'Challa fans too) hated it. Not so much because "oh my blorbo suffers and forced to cross moral lines", but because of how lacking and in case of Namor dehumanizing it felt. There are good moments in that era and

Namor did absolutely nothing to help Norman during Dark Reign. Only the Hood was helping on that Cabal.

I can’t believe I need to say this again, but Namor was a massive character long before a lot of the other marvel heroes. It’s the reason he’s still around because in his era he was a best selling book he was more popular than cap and human torch.

@hyfenphaye Nobody actually gaf about Namor. It’s all just a weird comic book virtue signaling. Same reason Superman and the Fantastic Four have had a revival in popularity. Except, at least those characters have actual fans.

Nobody is calling it bad writing, in fact OP enjoys the issue, she's just upset character she likes is dead, mainly how him dying is done (unintentionally) playing into tired tropes that plagued Namor's appearances for decades now.
