Las Cruces High QB/pitcher and NMSU baseball commit Gunnar Guardiola told me he looked for 2 things in a college coach: someone who believed in him and someone who pushed him. He says that's exactly what he's getting in NMSU's Jake Angier. "I got on a phone call with him, and he said, 'What do you look for in a coach?' I said, 'Someone who believes in me and someone who's gonna push me to be better.' And he cut me off, and he was like, 'Son, I wouldn't be on the phone with you right now if I didn't believe in you. I think you can be great. I think we can get that out of you. We just want you to come here.' That really stuck with me."
