This just doesn’t seem right. How can a company like Epic Games possibly not be making enough money? They do so many sponsorships, endorsements, collabs, advertising etc.

Why do we need to verify our age for a game that requires you to be 18+ to purchase in the first place? Is that not what fucking classifications are even for in the first place.
Something isn't adding up here.

Australian GTA Online players Starting tomorrow will need to verify that you are 18 or older to play the online mode. This is due to new R18+ rules enforced by the eSafety Commissioner. Rockstar already has the age verification system prepared. You will likely see options such as: - uploading government-issued photo ID - facial age estimation (via selfie or video) - credit card verification The requirement applies only to online multiplayer (GTA Online), not to single-player mode. If Rockstar does not comply, the company could face fines of up to AU$49.5 million per breach.

He couldn't mine it and couldn't afford to buy it.
So he started writing articles for a crypto blog for 5 BTC each, worth about $3.50 at the time.

The US Government is holding a meeting today proposing laws that would require Age Verification on ALL APPS through the app store.
In order to download any app on your phone you'd have to verify your age using a Government ID or Face Scan.
This is a massive invasion of privacy.
