Obamacare is only 7% of Americans. Literally almost 100% of Americans need relief from their health care policy premiums, not just 7%. We need to have free market solutions that bring down the cost of health care for every American, not just the 7%.

Today, while Governor Moore’s promoting “MeatOut Day in Maryland,” I’m standing with the people who feed Maryland. Our farmers. Our poultry businesses. Our seafood processors. Our watermen. At a time when our watermen are facing a historically challenging oyster season and our farmers are under pressure, the last thing they need is the Moore Administration working against them.

Election integrity is not optional. The Senate needs to get this done for the American people.

This week, I’m recognizing the farmers here in Maryland who carry the responsibility of feeding our communities and our country. From poultry growers and chicken processors to the farmers growing soybeans, corn, and feed crops, this is hard, demanding work that never stops. Thank you to our farmers for all that you do to feed our country.

This is why we have to pull federal Department of Justice funding from any Maryland sanctuary jurisdiction — but continue giving that funding to jurisdictions that continue to cooperate with deporting criminal illegal aliens. Marylanders should not be paying the price for massive data centers. If companies want to build energy-intensive facilities in Maryland, they must build or secure the power needed to run them — not shift those costs onto families and small businesses. And Maryland state leaders should immediately place a moratorium on the taxes and fees that keep pushing electricity bills higher.  Enough is enough.

Please join me in praying for the Baltimore police officer injured in the line of duty earlier today and for his family. Our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities, and I am grateful for their courage and sacrifice.
