It's important to acknowledge the strides we've made in our transit systems throughout the state & where we still need to improve. More funding is needed for mass transit, especially ride-sharing programs that help our seniors & disabled communities.

Doesn’t matter where you live across the commonwealth, someone is reliant on mass transit in some way. From getting to work, school, or doctor’s appointments, planes, trains & buses keep our lives moving.

As a longtime advocate for Dyslexia awareness, it was heartening to see so many come out in support.

This week in Harrisburg, I joined advocates in recognition of Dyslexia Awareness Month. My first bill ever signed into law was in 2014 to create the Dyslexia Screening and Early Literacy Intervention Program.

This new terminal will provide convenient, reliable, and accessible air travel service throughout the region. Advancing aviation is a bipartisan goal, and I thank Senator Judy Ward and PIT for inviting us!

The House and Senate Transportation Committees recently toured the newly constructed terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) As one of the largest airports in PA, about ten million passengers travel through PIT every year.
