If I recall, only one chamber is on record saying they’re okay leaving this session with a “level funded” education budget. Hint: the @MSHouseOfRep is not that chamber. Our “way” is $3.001b in education funding ~record amounts~ by and through a formula that sends the money to the students & districts that need it the most. #INSPIRE















Is the "Mississippi Miracle" real?





Water bills will continue to be based off of personal consumption. It just makes common sense. I just signed the law to guarantee it.













And @LeeYanceyMS made the same point about racial polarization that @ZakiyaSummers made. #MSleg can help reduce racial polarization. E.g. the local initiative process I want them to pass could allow initiatives to switch to nonpartisan local elections, which are less polarized.
