It was really fun to welcome my daughter Rosie and her classmates to the State House today. I still remember my fourth grade field trip to Concord. Maybe one of Rosie’s classmates will be back here someday as a member of our citizen legislature... This is how it starts.

This applies to everything now. Music, film, TV, sports. The gravitas is gone. And it’s not because the talent is lesser. Media is fragmented, and so, we rarely have shared moments — which create that feeling. Instead, everyone just exists in their own algorithmic feed.

There’s an interesting case study to be had about nothing in sports feeling legendary anymore. I don’t think it’s a nostalgia thing at all, I think it’s the rise of social media and accessibility so we move on from everything immediately.

Democrat Bobbi Boudman prevailed in a special election Tuesday for the N.H. House, flipping a seat Republicans had held in a district that favored Trump in 2024. Democrats and some Republicans said the results add to warning signs for Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterms.

New Hampshire has invested in a new bail notification system that will be online later this year. While we successfully ended the failed bail reform experiment last year, we’re always looking for ways to make New Hampshire even safer. Giving officers timely data on bail conditions makes it easier to get violent offenders off our streets and ensure they can’t do further harm.
