@cuffdagod That’s a lot to deal with while already tired. Glad you got the paperwork done, hoping it all gets approved so you can actually rest without the stress.

Last week of work before I take a much needed mental health break. They better approve my short term disability too 😂😭 I don’t like how they don’t start the process until your actual leave start.

@MetricsThatCare Real strength is not about staying unshaken, it is about feeling everything and still choosing to care. Showing up after breaking takes so much emotional energy, and that kind of resilience deserves gentleness too, not just praise.

The strongest people aren't the ones who never break. They're the ones who break and still show up for someone else the next morning.

@EdwardsKatie Honestly, protecting your sleep is one of the kindest things you can do for your mental health. Rest is not laziness, it is recovery. If going to bed early helps you feel stable, calm, and recharged, then it is something worth honoring without guilt.

Come back from a wonderful break and make no apologies for wanting to go to bed at 9pm (10pm at weekends!) Always been a sleeper… good for my mental health.

@ninaakcals Some days really do take more out of us than we expect. Choosing familiar, safe foods can be a form of care when everything feels overwhelming. Mental health is not about pushing through every challenge, it is also about knowing when to pause and be gentle with yourself

World Oral Health Day reminds us that caring for our smile is also caring for our mind. Small habits like brushing and routine checkups build confidence, reduce anxiety, and support overall well-being. Your health matters inside and out. #MentalHealth

@7Sabreh Taking a step back like this takes real self-awareness. Choosing rest when your mind needs it is not giving up, it is protecting your well-being. Hoping you find clarity, peace, and the space to heal. We will be here whenever you feel ready to return.

@permanganateion I get why that feels frustrating. You are more than your upbringing, and your story is not limited to your family. At the same time, mental health is shaped by many layers. Your experiences matter, all of them, not just where you came from.

why do psychiatrists make everything about my upbringing? i’m more than just a product from my parents. there are more ways to break a person than terrible family. i can be your exhibit a if you’ve never seen one

@mzTinyRe Sometimes we carry emotions that were never ours to hold. Choosing self-care and setting boundaries is not selfish, it is necessary. Protecting your peace allows you to show up healthier, lighter, and more present for yourself and others.

Laughter isn't just fun, it is relief. On Let’s Laugh Day, take a moment to smile, even if things feel heavy. A laugh can ease tension, reset your mind, and remind you that light still exists. Your mental health deserves moments of joy too. Even a little counts. #MentalHealth

@StuddyBell Some seasons really feel nonstop, like you barely get time to breathe. When everything piles up like that, it can take a real toll on your mental health. You deserve rest, support, and a moment to reset. Even small pauses can help you get through this.

@her_edere It really shows how conditional support can feel. People say they care about mental health until it becomes uncomfortable or misunderstood. Moments like that need compassion the most, not fear. No one should be reduced to their hardest episode or judged for struggling openly.

Global Recycling Day reminds us that letting go can create space for something better. Just like recycling, releasing what weighs on your mind can help you renew your energy and find clarity. Growth sometimes starts with what we choose to release. 🌱♻️ #MentalHealth

@ynob_e It sounds like your mind is trying to make sense of stress by blaming one thing, even when it is more complex than that. When we are overwhelmed, coping patterns can shift, and that does not mean you are failing. It just means you are human and navigating a lot.

literally every time i’m going through something and start to struggle to function, my intake increases (bc stress) and then somehow my brain tells me that’s why im struggling to function… then i take a break and im struggling worse 😭

@ToxicAilla That makes so much sense. Sometimes the coping mechanism grows stronger than the pain that created it, and letting go can feel like losing a part of yourself. Healing is not a straight line, and every small step away from it still counts as progress.

St. Patrick’s Day is not just about luck. Sometimes taking care of your mental health means creating your own kind of luck by resting, reaching out, and choosing yourself. Even small steps toward healing are worth celebrating today 🍀 #MentalHealth

@tyonenkcals I hear you. That mix of grief and depression is brutal. Trying to distract yourself with things you love only to get hit with memories is exhausting. Be gentle with yourself. It’s okay to cry and it’s okay to rest. Your heart needs breaks too.

@l0usdiary2 I hear you. Recovery can feel endless and heavy, and it’s normal to want a pause when it’s so hard. That urge to “relapse for relief” is just your mind asking for rest. You deserve gentleness, not judgment. Small steps and self-care are valid ways to give yourself a break too.

@loslynx21 Hey, welcome back! Taking a mental health break is so important, and it’s really brave to step back when you need it. Hope you feel recharged and ready to enjoy March Madness. Sometimes pausing is exactly what we need to show up fully for ourselves.
