Today, I was called a “terminal cancer patient.” Yes, I realized that’s what that meant when going into hospice but also it’s different when you hear it as your descriptor for the first time from a rando.

@KegParty5 @PhilLatzman Yes, “you look great” annoys me because I have a toddlers diaper hanging off my face covering a giant open wound that looks like a time period during Mad Max. Most people have no words to say. Give them grace and permission to not say the right thing and you will be fine.
