@Signs2323 No. Just.... No. And I loved almost all of the DCEU movies. Loved them. On record as being a huge fan. But your idea is not a good one. Loses tons of money and produces another film that large portions of the target audiences will dislike. Elseworld animated film? Sure.

Personally, I would fire Gunn and Safran, and scrap the DCU, which has pretty much failed already. Bring Zack and his old cast back, for a huge grand finale with his JL saga, resetting the timeline. Leaving DC wide open for a clean slate.

@SepzenoOfficial Easily AGATHA. Although decent, it is largely irrelevant, whereas all the others are quite good and have significant places in the discussion of the genre.

@Darren_Mooney With two minor changes, Man of Steel would widely be considered the second best Superman film ever instead of "an abomination" (though I love it as is). 2025 was just a fine starting point. In that way, they provided opposite cinematic universe futures.

My boring take is that these are both the weakest features from their respective directors, and for largely the same reason - they feel the most impersonal of their films. That said, at least “Man of Steel” has a take on the character beyond empty nostalgia and fan service.
