I’ve seen this a lot but, these aren’t really fair to compare. However, it doesn’t take away the fact that yes, the dollar is cheaper than it was a couple of years ago even… meaning, yeah things lose detail, plastic costs, diecasts start looking worse, decals wear out quicker, etc etc. Hot wheels can’t control the $1

From @RfrFilms **Updates on the Teku Deora mainlines: Case L has one Deora 2. Case M has two Deora 2s and one Deora 3. Case N seemingly has one Deora 3. The Deora II is out in Australia and some Asian countries. There are some reports that the case L Deora IIs have been found in California (particularly the Mattel toy store in El Segundo). Walmarts on the East coast of the US are currently on Case J, so L will be showing up soon. We’re a case or two away. For US fans, expect to start checking the pegs in early August! For US fans, if you need to know what case you’re on, grab the latest car you can find and look at the code on the back of the peg hook. The last letter in the code is the case assortment that the car debuted in. Deora 2 will say “L” and Deora 3 will say “M”. (International packaging has different codes). There is no case “i” or “o”.*
