Today, friends @mspatclass @RidgeviewPS explore multiplication equations using a number line and counters! When tools are used, they start to have a better understanding of what’s behind the equation.

It’s a new tool! These Gr. 2s and 3s @RidgeviewPS get some exploration time using Number Line by Mathies. It’s great to listen to the convo even during this time. Next will be using it as a learning tool!

Which snake is the longest? A little longer than…? A lot longer than…? These friends @Ridgeview1_C @RidgeviewPS use play dough to compare lengths! It makes it more interesting and engaging to learn about lengths. #MathUP
