@MaryAnn4NE Maybe we need the law to correct doctors who switch from caring for two patients to only one patient when the smaller patient is no longer wanted and needs to die. Abortion is not health care.

@ChrisMBowling And EPS gave its clients more than $120k in material aid (latest 990 form) to say nothing of the support its staff and classes provided to these women - many of whom have little to no support. Is supporting these pregnant women not anti-poverty?!

@ChrisMBowling Seems like a lot of data is missing from this piece on the actual maternity support provided by care centers - car seats, infant and maternity clothes, education. Here’s a snippet from the online audited financials of Women’s Care Center that opened an Omaha location last year.

Some say the program is about helping needy women. Others, including a group in charge of the program, say it's really about curbing abortions.

They’ve painted their hands red and covered their faces. In their testimony, they mostly refuse to identify themselves “for their safety.”
