In an upcoming hotfix, we'll be making it so that Raging Spirits can only summon 5 Raging Spirits per cast at all levels. They will also no longer be able to be spawned from triggered Fire Skills. After this hotfix, we will be making adjustments to other Trigger Meta-Gems. In particular, we are going to be moving towards it being that you will not be able to apply very weak ailments from low level abilities to build energy. It is our intention that using low level skills with no investment is not an appropriate avenue to trigger copious amounts of high damage spells.

@pathofexile So rather than fix the broken interaction, you're nerfing the damage and hitting every other spec that wasn't using the interaction in the crossfire? Or are you temporarily breaking a bunch of chars ONLY WHILE you fix the interaction? Latter sucks but fair, former is horrible.

Currently, it's a bit too easy to detonate Gas Cloud explosions when combined with persistent Ignite skills like Flame Wall. We'll be adjusting the explosion damage of both Gas Grenade and Gas Arrow for now in an upcoming hotfix. In the future, we want to update it such that the potency of the Ignite or Detonator contributes to determining the damage of the Gas Cloud explosions, that way we would be able to avoid balancing around the simplest and most efficient way to apply Ignites.
