Sad news… Longtime Radio NL Sports Director Rick “The Bear” Wile passed away last night at the age of 72. Inducted into the Kamloops Sports HOF in 2017, Bear was very dedicated to his craft over five decades. He developed a loyal following as the sports authority in Kamloops.

@AlbertBreer They should make it an under 23 event at the Olympics similar to Soccer maybe allow two veteran players. Now that would still be exciting!

Can someone explain to me again why the NHL didn't want their players in the Olympics, and kept it from happening in 2018 and 2022? This is the best marketing the sport could possibly have.
