It is with great excitement that I announce my transition to the University of Georgia as an Assistant Professor. No words can express the depths of my gratitude to everyone at UNC. I have stood on the shoulders of giants who have helped me accomplish more than I could imagine.

📚 New article out from our lab about #SES, academic standing, and #concussion reporting intentions. Research from @lblempke @RawlinsWeber @MelissaAndrsn @RobLynall @JDSchmitty finds concussion reporting intentions & behaviors are not influenced by SES, HS GPA, or ACT scores.

Nobody got a 100g head impact and the kids would be dead at 12,000rad/sec^2. Good carpenter never blames tools, but tools used here should go in trash. Ps- my kid in flag as 9yr old=7g

Flag Football head impact biomechanics by @lblempke, @JDSchmitty, @RobLynall, @MelissaAndrsn in @AJSM_SportsMed. Head impacts were rare, but mean impact was 43.0 g and 5,947 rad/s2.
