4 years since we were developing the concept for One Centenary Way @ParadiseBham - looking forward to seeing the monster transfer trusses arrive on site this week to span the building over the A38 tunnel. Amazing effort by all involved to make this landmark building a reality!

This breakdown for Barrett’s Grove shows that the basement, only 30% of the total GIA, contributes 50% to the #EmbodiedCarbon of the structure. The project is close to achieving the RIBA 3030 Climate Challenge domestic target of 300 kgCO₂e/m² thanks to the CLT superstructure

Bywater Properties has submitted its planning application to @lambeth_council⁩ to repurpose a disused warehouse into a 60,000 sq ft workspace. This will be the lowest carbon office building in the UK and the biggest CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) structure in the country. 1/2
