I've been canvassing in East Portland and Gresham - and a huge barrier to the work is a lack of public restrooms. It's an even larger barrier as someone who relies on public transit. We need our cities to invest in more facilities throughout the Metro area. #pdx

Heads up, MAX Blue, Green and Red Line riders ⚠️ TriMet will join our partners for a graffiti cleanup along the Banfield Freeway this weekend. Crews will remove trash and graffiti along a 5-mile stretch of Interstate 84 and our MAX tracks. I-84 will be closed from 11 p.m. on July 13, until noon on July 14. For workers’ safety, MAX Blue, Green and Red Line service will be suspended between the Gateway/NE 99th Ave Transit Center and the NE 7th Ave MAX Station during the cleanup. The disruption will begin with the start of service early Sunday. Regular service will resume Sunday afternoon. Shuttle buses will provide service while MAX is disrupted.
