I started ‘The Embodiment’ as a zen-space on Linkedin for the global audience, where I share the latest technology updates and research in the field of Physical AI with deep technical insights so that people do not have to consume noise about Physical AI and actually read about the reality and hard hitting facts in simplistic terms. Researchers and people who are grounded to first principle thinking hate noise and nonsense fed in the name of AI on their feeds, and this is an effort to sorta calm their brains and make sure they are consuming the right content. Do follow the page on Linkedin and checkout this huge announcement from NVIDIA today ! linkedin.com/company/the-em…

The time has arrived for Robotics and Physical AI in 🇮🇳! Indian youth from the previous generation took inspiration from India’s success in space research and if you remember your childhood, most of your answers to “Who do you want to become when you grow up” were I want to be an astronaut I want to work for ISRO I want to build satellites I strongly believe the next generation (GenZ) in India would take inspiration from the AI and Robotics scene in India and would want to grow up to build meaningful AI and intelligent robots for the society. (Humanoids, Quadrupeds, Drones, etc.) Warm stories about India’s deeptech scene is what made me come back to 🇮🇳 from the 🇺🇸 and connect more of these inspiring minds across age-groups and inspire them towards a career in Robotics and Physical AI at Robotics India Community! Let’s talk ! Join our efforts today : discord.gg/vGhxjcrx4

the next frontier gets built by the people who never asked if they were allowed to. a team of 24 year olds in bangalore are building autonomous snake-like robotic arms for inspection in hazardous industries. the founders did not inherit the assumption that this problem belonged to boston dynamics or a german engineering firm. we keep seeing this pattern. founders young enough to questions industries from first principles. diaspora who saw the frontier from the inside and came back having decided this is where the leverage is. founders entering categories from the outside: designers building software, biologists building hardware, engineers rebuilding healthcare. in a moment where AI is collapsing the cost of attempting hard things, the cognitive starting point is everything. the founders asking how things actually work- not how things are done- are the ones who get to write the new rules. frontier tech from india is not a prediction. it is our portfolio.

after close to four years at @openai, i moved from the bay area to india earlier this year. i still believe deeply in ensuring true superintelligence accelerates science and remains accessible and beneficial to all. having grown up here, i've also always felt deeply connected to the ecosystem here. over the past several weeks, i've been speaking with researchers, engineers, and thinkers across india and apac. it's become clear that there are many who want to build the future from here. moving back felt like the counterintuitive choice. i no longer think that's true. what's been missing is the belief that you can build institutions of global consequence from anywhere. and more importantly, the ambition and the will to pursue ideas that seem impossibly large at first. this may be a once in a generation opportunity. more to come soon. DMs open if this resonates.

Bangalore is so network-dense you could walk into a random cafe with your resume and walk out with a career in finance.

The West didn't just build institutions. It built fandom around them. NASA hoodies. Air Force jackets. Great seeing ISRO and Indian forces merch on the shelves, and soon in my wardrobe :) A confident country doesn't just celebrate its institutions, it turns them into culture.

High Fidelity UAV Simulator using @nvidiaomniverse ! You will not believe my luck but I managed to develop all the essential modes (Joystick Control, Autonomous Mission Control and AI in the loop) SITL simulations today (making it one of the most cracked Urban Simulators for Multi UAV’s out there) when I was teaching a bunch of kids for a competition! This can be used for 1. Training soldiers, cops, infrastructure maintenance pilots, emergency response workers 2. Simulate complex multi agent problems 3. Generate high quality Petabytes of Photorealistic and Physics backed urban and terrain data every single day! DM for Licensing and more details!

Hot Takes - The trillion dollar valued WORLD models and robots of the west are only going to be built by Indian data and the trends are strong! 1. 1000’s of Egocentric Data Companies in India, entered factories, households, many other public places! Best place to scale! 2. Entry of devices such as Meta Glasses into the Indian market 3. Lowest cost data suited for Physical AI across the world! 4. Enough young people to provide agile data to the data lake I see it in these ways: Being a technology optimist, 🇮🇳 has to capitalize on owning the entire data pipeline, and charging a premium on the data because these are gold standard data that the west can never generate at such a humongous scale. Simply boycott/blanket ban any company that is not Indian in this data collection space. Let’s play to our strengths and let only Indian companies do this! Also, entrepreneurship has multiplied 10 fold because of this boom and thats a great sign for 🇮🇳’s story. Data Privacy : A basic compliance and consent to not reveal faces is all that is needed to trade the data! The other policies will evolve with time and new incidents! Access to tech and models? It also might be true that 🇮🇳 might never see or experience the generalized/household robots or the models that were trained on this very same homegrown data, and we should be prepared for it. Superintelligence will be owned elsewhere while we still play the major role in supply chain! But we will be the ultimate fools if we don’t charge enough for the data! Someone pls pass this on to the lawmakers in 🇮🇳!
