BREAKING I was doing some research & found out that Rob Jesmer is Senator Cornyn’s general consultant. By going through Rob’s posts, I found that Matt — also on Cornyn’s team — posted his disappointment about no path for amnesty. When I replied, Matt deleted it w/in seconds.

The GOP is a fake political party. Its main function is to vacuum up conservative energy, votes, and donations, then ensure those resources are never used to actually fight back against the left.

作为一个在美国生活了十七年、对美国有着深厚感情的人，作为一个曾经相信美国的制度及其榜样能够给世界带来希望和光明的人，我不得不难堪又痛苦地承认，美国近一段时间在与伊朗的对峙中表现出令人难以置信的软弱、被动、胆怯、愚蠢和短视。 无论美国的立场或者意图是什么，凭借其现有的实力和国际地位，都完全没有必要沦落到几乎完全被伊朗牵着鼻子走的境地。 我们不知道这背后究竟发生了什么。造成目前局面的原因是个人的决策风格？政治派系的争斗？战略博弈的无力？武器实力的不济？军队士气的低落？不过，无论如何，在世人看来，美国已经完全不是以前的美国了。 我此时也能多少理解那些在本土出生长大的美国人的心境了。连我都痛心疾首如斯，那些从小唱着“星条旗永不落”的美国人会有什么感受，便可想而知了。 我们该反思什么？美国的民主制度与个人主义？教育体系的僵化与无能？资本主义体制和功利思想？现代性本身？ 显然，美国人要做的反思很多很多。可惜的是，我们很少看到像样的反思，只有越来越极端和情绪化的相互指责和对立。这才是最让人担心甚至绝望的。

有没有思考过，为啥西方比如美国有钱人富二代可以在互联网上，肆无忌惮炫耀装逼，天天酒池肉林，豪车，别墅，美女无数，私人飞机，游艇淫趴，毫无保留的把日常生活炫耀出来，中国却几乎没有超级有钱人在社交媒体大肆宣扬？ 因为这么干是找死，全国人民都不答应。 归根结底，美国是真正的资本主义国家，有钱就是爹，有钱就是上帝，中国终究有很强的共产属性。就是中国的社会风气不允许，所有人赤裸裸看到最有钱的那批人，超级奢华的生活，疯狂炫富，装逼。中国的广大人民，是无论如何都无法接受这么赤裸裸的事实。

Chuck Grassley won’t get rid of blue slips to advance our judicial nominees because he wants to be nice to Democrats. 21 Indiana state senators voted against redistricting and deprived us of two additional House seats because they want to be nice to Democrats. 19 House Republicans are co-sponsoring mass amnesty legislation and going against the will of 77+ million voters because they want to be nice to Democrats. 10 House Republicans voted to extend TPS for 350,000 Haitians because they want to be nice to Democrats. House Republicans won’t censure Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, or expel Epstein’s Democrat friend Stacey Plaskett because they want to be nice to Democrats. The last thing on Democrats’ minds is being nice to Republicans. When will Republicans learn?
