This is unhinged. If a family member behaved this way, you'd worry about them. If a CEO behaved like this, the board would meet. He's living in an alternate reality and furious when a person won't indulge his fantasies.

WOW -- Trump crashes out and cuts his interview with Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged "You're either crooked or you're stupid. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her." "I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads.

So despite Henry's dad making it clear that they "do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension”, Farage uses his death in an emergency address to create division for his own gain. An awful politician.

It is simply incredible that I can board an Elizabeth Line train at Canary Wharf and go all the way to Reading. I don't want to go to Reading, but still.

I appear to have just become an official Professor of Football Finance. Never thought it would happen when I started mucking around with spreadsheets many years ago. Another nail in the coffin of jumpers for goalposts, but I'm over the moon. Over to Sir Sean Dyche for a proper summary.

In 1997, Brazilian soccer player Roberto Carlos took a free kick from 35 meters against France that seemed to defy the laws of physics as it curved around a wall of defenders at an angle that seemed impossible. This “miracle goal” led a team of French physicists to publish a study in the journal New Journal of Physics, in which they explained that the extreme spin and speed created a “spinning spiral of the ball” that overcame gravity and air resistance.

@brucemillington @BBCMOTD Reluctantly had to accept that the classy but out of form Palmer and Foden were rightly omitted. But leaving Wharton behind is mystifying.

What an amazing twelve months for Crystal Palace. Good for them. Great to see clubs outside the traditional elite thrive like this. Fans are in for memorable celebrations in Leipzig!

@FPL_Instinctive Sensible analysis. Sad to see him go but feels like the right thing. I hope he stays fit and remains in the PL.

Solly March’s experience will be sorely missed in terms of continuity, imo, especially as the core of this squad could be ransacked come September. Young/inexperienced players are likely to have a big part to play, what with Conference League football + Webster (and maybe Veltman) leaving, so March could’ve been a good role model to oversee such a transition. On a footballing level, we’re seeing Brighton’s wingers broadly divide into two groups: direct/dribbly wingers (Mitoma, Minteh), or wingers who profile broadly as 10s (Gómez/Gruda). March sorta finds himself between the two. The severity of his injuries may mean he doesn’t have his old explosiveness (first type), and he’s not necessarily as good in the half-spaces as he is near the touchline (second type). And if you do need a more retentive profile, you may as well play De Cuyper or Kadioğlu on the wings, the latter of whom can also play as a 10. That said, you lose some of March’s defensive smarts, but it wouldn’t be fair to reduce him to a “closer,” especially if he’s able to get back to his previous level. Plus, with some of the younger wingers needing a clear pathway into the first XI…

.@talkSPORT understands Solly March has been told he can leave #BHAFC with his contract exploring this summer. End of an era for a fan favourite.

Odd that a manager who had a £28m net spend, led a club to top 4 finish and a European trophy, the first trophy in 30 years, is not even nominated for manager of the year. 🤨🤨🤨 At Villa, we know how good he is.

I have huge respect for James Milner. He sets the highest of standards. And if he chooses one more season as a professional in the PL anywhere other than Brighton, there would be something poetic about him returning to Leeds to do it. (Not rushing him out the door - just think it would be such a great story)

@cgullman I think they planned to soak up the early pressure and nick a goal. I think Hürzeler thought starting with experience and then injecting pace was a good strategy. Went well 😭

Manchester United did not play like a team already qualified for the Champions League, or on the beach, or with players who had one eye on the World Cup. Real character and professionalism. A credit to Carrick. No excuses for Brighton today. #BHAMANUTD
