Once #NeverTrump Republicans realized there was no room for them in the Dem tent unless they signed off on every bizarre Woke fad, they either went full Dem or they backed DeSantis or other GOP alternatives. Most have acquiesced in Trump's 2d term as the lesser evil than Harris.

Many NeverTrump people did wind up on the left, or at least aligned with the Democratic Party. Because they were incapable of keeping NeverTrump from turning into NeverRepublican, and thus were purged from the GOP and have now given up the pretense that they aren't really Dems.
