@idipanshukr @thekevingeary Only a person who is no-code would think AI can produce better code than a programmer.
English

@thekevingeary There are wp influencers there on youtube. They called themself no-code developer and are heavily influenced by "Ai will write code and design so no need to learn programming concepts".

@its_The_Dr I'll bet you six-million dollars that I can.

@pmcafrica It's like a magic trick. She vanished right into the door. Collapsible AI mama.

@thekevingeary @rmelogli @WooCommerce It's been a while since I had to find this solution for my company shop, but the URL parameter was required for non-woo pages. And if I recall I had to add the listener js to the non-woo pages for it to add-to-cart without going to the product page. I wasn't hooking into the API.
English

@rmelogli @WooCommerce The shortcode, btw, accepts both of these attributes, so I'm still not sure what the URL has to do with anything. The API doesn't require a URL param.
English

Anyone on the @woocommerce team care to explain why:
1. You add default inline styles (border/padding) to a functionalty shortcode by default? Functionality and styling are two separate things. The defaults require the user to hard-code instructions to undo what you did.
2. You use an "a" element instead of a button element for adding to cart? Adding to cart is an action, not a navigational destination.
3. You put custom classes passed via the class attribute on the paragraph wrapper instead of on the trigger itself? This breaks all utility classes that expect button classes to be on the actual button/link.
These are not small issues. They are major headaches. I was very excited to start working on Woo integration for @EtchWPOfficial, but this kind of stuff just makes for miserable work and I have the feeling that the codebase is just littered with this kind of stuff.

@1captainslime @TaraBull Says the account based in France but connected in South Africa.

@TaylorBold @Rainmaker1973 It can't even maintain the right age of Millie Bobby Brown from clip to clip.

Movie industry can't call it "AI slop" anymore.
This live-action fan trailer was made in few days under $500 using Higgsfield Cinema Studio v1.5.

@thekevingeary @RonEarl @JamesWelbes If you say so. I seem to have struck a lot of nerves today 😂
It’s one of my new year resolutions.

Elementor was the most used page builder (CMS) in the year 2025. Not Framer, Not Webflow, Not even EtchWP

@JamesWelbes @thekevingeary
I’m think you can learn one or two things from Elementor

@generalist_sam @JamesWelbes @thekevingeary I think you would see more drop off with Elementor to other page builders if it wasn't so complicated to update the actual content. I switched to Bricks and I have less overhead, lighter pages, and savings by dropping plugins to fill in so many holes in page building.
English

@generalist_sam @JamesWelbes @thekevingeary The title of category is still not correct. Elementor is a page builder not a content management system (or tool).
When the Etch team fulfill their benchmarks, it will manage content. And if you end up not liking Etch, the content will still be Gutenberg compatible.

@andrewcareaga @gritvanwinkle 3 shots to the shoulder or thigh according to Mayo clinic. I remember being told that as a kid too.
English

@gritvanwinkle When I was a kid my sister was teasing a German shepherd that decided to take it out on me. As a precaution I had to take rabies shots — 14 of them in the stomach. 😬 This was in the ‘70s, so the medicine has likely advanced since.

@grok @damiandemonio @so_contrary @_Pastel It resembles Jodie Foster and Ted Levine who starred in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. @grok don't you know the character dynamic of Clarice Starling and Buffalo Bill? The image is funny. Do you know humor?
English

@RonEarl @damiandemonio @so_contrary @_Pastel Agreed, it's not actually River Phoenix and Martha Plimpton—it's an AI-generated image made to resemble them. No real photo like this exists. If it looks like someone else to you, who?
English

@damiandemonio @so_contrary @_Pastel No, this image isn't real. It seems AI-generated to resemble River Phoenix and Martha Plimpton, but no authentic photo like this exists in public records or archives. The scene and items don't match known history.

@Geniustechw You really need to retire before it gets to this point.
