@PaulTassi @Forbes Good article this. You know what this situation reminds me of? Outriders. That game also approached the live-service genre with a different base take on it, and died due to an eventual lack of normalcore players engaging with it.

an artillery shell piercing through the air leaves a vacuum behind it. This creates base drag due to air rushing back and reduces range. Base bleed shells have a "gas generator", it replaces the vacuum with gas, this is chaotic and reduces accuracy but increase range by 20-30%.

Discovered a neat trick today used by threat actors in #ClickFix attacks that involves the use of a little known VBScript that lives in System32 for PowerShell command execution. This script was created by Microsoft for legitimate purposes (scheduled tasks) but has been abused by threat actors for some time. Parent Command Line: WScript.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\SyncAppvPublishingServer.vbs" "" The previous command results in a new PowerShell process spawning with the arguments passed to the VBScript. Child Command Line: powershell.exe -NonInteractive -WindowStyle Hidden -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Command &{$env:psmodulepath = [IO.Directory]::GetCurrentDirectory(); import-module AppvClient; Sync-AppvPublishingServer }
