I truly believe this Argyle squad is not as bad as people make out. There are very very good players in there, that other L1 clubs would take in a heartbeat. The problem - in my opinion - is the management and coaching of that group. Tom needs to go.

@Chris_Webb1 Not sure I agree entirely Chris. There’s some very good L1 players in that squad but TC can’t get a tune out of them. The way he sets them up seems naive to me. Where do we go from here? Apart from L2 that is! 💚

I genuinely feel sorry for Cleverley. He was sold a top 6 budget and is bringing on players who aren’t getting in the Taunton Town team. But it’s okay because the incoming CEO isn’t too concerned. Shambles #pafc

@Jakfirst @beercan75 Agree. We need an experience L1 manager that can work with what we have and get the best out of them. Not another manager that wants to make a name for himself trying to get average players playing like Man City!

@RosevearJS @beercan75 I can’t be a hypocrite, I was very excited when they announced Cleverley! But it’s just not working. So many basics not being done and they just look so much worse since the break.

Recruitment has been woeful (to put it nicely), but even so too many players not doing the basics and tactically the team have no clue and that falls on Cleverley. Fast losing patience and unless there’s a turnaround in second half his position surely has to be in threat. #pafc

Didn’t see much evidence of that work tonight I’m afraid. A completely toothless display against a poor Exeter side. Not sure what TC is doing on the training ground, but that was a shambles!

@Jannerspray @_cobibudge We’re lacking some experience and know how in the middle of the park. An awful lot of inexperienced players. Joe looked off it yesterday too. I also don’t think the 3-4-2-1 suits us. Not enough bodies in the middle of the park and we’re too open once we lose the ball.
