Year-end numbers show what many of us already suspected. Warehouse good, office bad. Occupied office space shrank by 639,000 SF in 2020 (compared to -769,000 SF in 2009), while industrial gained by 4.2 million SF. Same expected for 2021. #vanre #cresa cresa.com/Locations/Nort…

"Office vacancies up sharply". No big surprise, but with Q3 in the books we can say the #downtownvancouver vacancy rate more than doubled YoY, from 2.2% to 5.3%, and during the quarter increased by 1.6 percentage points. Double-digit vacancy rates a near certainty. #OfficeSpace
