I deleted my earlier repost of this because it was pointed out to me that Netanyahu was quoting an author, something the accounts reposting this clip fail to mention in an effort to make it appear as though these are Netanyahu’s own words.

@RothForPrez I’ve read Durant fairly extensively. He is a pragmatist, and here he is being quoted to suggest that morals shouldn’t guide us, but rather we should follow a sort of realpolitik to meet political aim despite the means. Which is an evil amoral statement.

Colombia gets ~$0.5B fighting drug bad guys. Helpful for stopping candy that hurts us, but little buys US stuff or shares cool tech back. More money just gone.
So yeah, bigger net loss on Colombia aid. Simple math!
