They have benched their gold glove caliber second baseman twice because they ~need~ to give a utility guy reps in a platoon, and they are giving their 22-year-old rangy centerfielder a ~much~ needed day off which has resulted in roughly 4 runs added to this game for the Nats (so far) that simply wouldn’t have happened with Stott and Crawford in the lineup.
