The Deacons of First Baptist Church recently served breakfast to nearly 100 shelter guests, continuing a tradition of more than 20 years of service in Jeannie’s Kitchen. We’re grateful for their faithful partnership and care for our community. 💛

We’re grateful for our partnership with Crosby Scholars! In February, students helped pack Food for Thought bags for Rowan Salisbury Schools. Nearly 900 bags go out each week to support students facing food insecurity. 💛

Facilities Committee volunteers recently trimmed the crepe myrtles across our campus. We’re grateful for their help keeping our grounds safe and beautiful! Interested in joining the Facilities Committee? Meetings are the first Wednesday each month at 8:00 AM. 💛

The Grace Gang is one of our newest volunteer groups! On the second Sunday each month, they serve lunch in Jeannie’s Kitchen and lead a God’s Table gathering for interested shelter guests. We’re grateful for the way they nourish both body and spirit in our community. 💛
