AI-assisted coding turned me from someone who designs systems into someone who also builds them 🛠️ I’ve spent 10 years working between business and IT, currently as an IT architect: translating messy business problems into requirements, systems, trade-offs, and workable solutions. I’ve always been close to technology, and I’ve done low-code development, but I never really saw myself as a developer. Now, when I run into a problem, I don’t just look for an app. I try to build one. Daily habits → app. Home workouts → app. Finance tracking → app. Small workflow problem → product idea. The interesting part is that my background helps more than I expected. Product thinking helps me shape the problem. Requirements engineering helps me make it concrete. System thinking helps me avoid building random features. Architecture helps me see how the pieces fit together. So this is now a serious hobby that got slightly out of hand. I get even less sleep than before 😅 I’m building web and mobile apps alongside a demanding office job, two young kids, and limited spare time. I’ll use this account to share what I build, what I learn, where I get stuck, and whether any of these small bets can become real products.

Day 11 of building to €10k/month 🚀 Today’s lesson: If I want to grow on X, “just post and reply more” is too vague. So I turned it into a real system: a reply plan by time block a post plan by time block a daily log to track execution Also simplified my X banner and rewrote my About page. Less random effort. More deliberate reps. Now the job is simple: show up, execute, review, repeat.

@RoyInProgress Interesting man Yeah I definitely need to get better myself I’m not at all boasting that I am perfect in working 8 hours myself deeply 6 hours for me if I’m really focused and often leads to be working “16 hours a day” Very difficult with distractions for sure.

Did you know that the average person only works 2 hours of deep work a day? No distractions, just focused work. Most people today scroll at work.. talk to co-workers or laze around. This is also true for entrepreneurs. Now imagine if you got in 10 hours of deep work a day?

AI-assisted coding makes building faster. But it also exposes weak product thinking faster. If you don’t know what problem you’re solving, AI will happily help you ship the wrong thing.

@KevinSzabo14 I think in a lot of ways you are indeed never ready (enough). But the real lesson is: diving in, even when you’re not ready.

How to miss opportunities: Assume you’re never ready.

Which experts? Anyways: yes I would. But I wouldn’t be doing what I’m currently doing (my day job). Humans aren’t meant to sit around and do nothing - every (wo)man needs a mission. So I would do something that adds a sense of purpose and fulfillment (maybe work in an animal shelter or something 😂)

Experts say that sometime within the next 10 years that work will be optional. Regardless, would you still work? Be honest.

Everyone laughs at the unemployed guy learning AI all day. No job, no meetings, no pressure. Just pure focus. 6 months later, he’s not the unemployed one anymore. He’s the one people ask, “How did you get so good so fast?”

@Gavel_on_X I believe it, but haven’t found the key for it. With posts, I can create my own narrative and control the subject matter. Replying feels random at times, which is why I think my replies are usually of lesser quality than my posts.

You grow more from great replies than viral posts.
