Opus produced the best output with Ruby in this shoot-out between a bunch of different languages. Fewest tokens, fewest LOCs, fastest completion. Maybe one day, AI will just be writing straight machine code, but until then, Ruby is a superb target. dev.to/mame/which-pro…

Seems like every other week there's a new study confirming Ruby is the most cost-efficient language for agentic coding. And every time, it resurfaces the "Ruby is dead" conversation. I think people are sleeping a bit on how much Ruby on Rails + Claude Code is a *crazy unlock* - I mean Rails was designed for people who love syntactic sugar, and LLMs are sugar fiends.
