We at Lodestar Esports are recruiting for our SOL Division 3 Academy roster. We are recruiting for all roles. Requirements: All applicants must be diamond 2+ currently and must be actively playing solo queue. We require a high level of spoken English. We need all players to have fairly flexible schedules as we will be playing as a team at least 3 times per week. Nice to haves: Swedish nationality/residency is preferred but not necessary for all players Past competitive experience is welcome but not necessary. The Academy team is a long term project and therefore we would like our players to be able to commit to that if everything goes well. Oh boy am I happy First of all I want to thank the boys, @MansterninjaEUW @Zoarial04 @Daggur_lol @Ruby_euw @Rizal_EUW you guys have been absolutely wonderful to work with, I wouldn't make any changes at all looking back on recruitment for our first split in SOL. 1/x

All of these boys are rookies in division 1, not one has a single season above ERL3 and they somehow managed to make it to playoffs, coming into the season everyone believed that they would go 9th, even @SOLPODDEN's (no flame ;p) tierlist put them going to relegations 2/x

Even though its not the best season, ending 5th, I managed to prove the thesis that building a team on the basis of social cohesion works, even though the boys had ups and downs they managed to work through it as a team and seeing them grow together has been amazing 3/x

Even though this is most likely going to be a shout into the void and I know that most other managers/scouts/coaches will not read this whole thread I hope that I am through my work with @LodestarEsports able to show that this "use and abuse" cycle of orgs signing players... 4/x

for one season and then dumping them the second they don't win the whole thing in an attempt to find "the golden roster" is unsustainable for the orgs that participate, the players that get exploited and the scene as a whole. Anyways 5/x

Onto the new Season, we will soon start looking for a new support, Rizal our current one has made the decision to focus on his studies and we wish him all the luck in the world in his future. So hey, if you read this far and you happen to know someone hit me up in dm's 6/6
