I think the thing is people outside of the clubs don't actually know there are plenty of teams in step 5 and 6 who have a budget of 3-5k i won't name and shame but it is very common place but I also don't see an issue with it if you can afford it pay players.

It was most probably the longest summer in football I've ever encountered.
The strides this club has taken to not be dead and buried is remarkable. It is an occasion that everyone at Villa can be proud, and I can't wait for the season to kick off. Let's go villa! 🙌💥
